Ramadan
Thursday, March 13th, 2025, 4:00 PM: A Night of Solidarity with Sudan Charity Gala "Join us for a special Charity Gala & Iftar in collaboration with MSA McGill, BMA McGill & MSA Concordia —an evening of wisdom, solidarity, and humanitarian action." Hosted by student clubs including McGill's MSA and the BMA.
Sunday, March 16, 5:30 PM: Open Iftar at the Canadian Institute of Islamic Civilization Join in this special open Iftar organized by the Muslim Students’ Association (MSA) and the Canadian Institute of Islamic Civilizations (CIIC) at 615 Belmont St.. The evening will feature engaging activities, discussions, and a shared meal as we break our fast together. This event is open to everyone, regardless of background or faith, and we would love to see as many people attend as possible. Monday, March 17, 5:45 PM: Montreal Student Iftar for Gaza "Join us for a delicious traditional Palestinian Iftar as we fundraise for the people of Gaza." This event is being co-hosted by 21 student clubs across Montreal.
Wednesday, March 19, 5:30 PM: Iftar for Gaza – A Night of Giving "This Ramadan, don’t just break your fast—make a difference! Join us at the CSU Lounge for a powerful evening of unity, reflection, and action." Hosted by student clubs including the MSA.
Friday March 21, 6:30 PM: Special Ramadan Iftar hosted by the Muslim Law Students Association and the Women of Colour Collective! Celebrate the special month of Ramadan with delicious food, henna artistry, and great company. This event is open to all, and we invite you to share in an evening of community, culture, and connection. Location: Old Chancellor Day Hall Atrium.
