Current research:

The topic of my thesis is the compositions of Raymond Daveluy. Daveluy’s compositional language developed into a very individual voice which can be traced trough three periods: early, middle, and late.   My hypothesis is that since Daveluy’s music reflects the Neo-Classical movement, Orgelbewegung, and French Romanticism, Daveluy’s music is unique to Quebec. To my knowledge, the blending of these influences has not occurred elsewhere.
