Celebrating 40 Years of Vision: The McConnell Brain Imaging Centre

Forty years ago, Dr. William Feindel had a groundbreaking vision to visualize the unseen pathology of the central nervous system, paving the way for enhanced care for patients with neurological conditions. This vision led to the establishment of the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre (BIC) at the Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University.

To commemorate this significant milestone, we are delighted to announce three days of events:

  • Scientific Day on November 19, 2024 at the Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre, The Neuro. Lectures from 08:00 - 18:30.
  • Conférences Publiques on November 23, 2024 at the Bibliothèque et Archives Nationales du Québec (BANQ). Cours en français de 13h à 14h30.
  • Public Lectures on November 23, 2024 at the Bibliothèque et Archives Nationales du Québec (BANQ). Lectures in English from 14:30 - 16:00.
  • Open House Day on December 7, 2024 at The McConnell Brain Imaging Centre (BIC), The Neuro. Tours from 09:00 - 13:00.

We look forward to honouring our past together and envisioning a transformative future with you!
