Making Meaningful Changes

From providing my first one-on-one breastfeeding support to new mothers in Montreal during my clinical practicum as an undergraduate McGill student, to educating nurses and adding breastfeeding curriculum in nursing education that didn’t exist previously in Macao, my nursing education at McGill gave me everything that I needed to make the societies healthier in both a loving and evidence-based way. After all, isn’t it what the policy and the character of McGill are about? Compassionate and scientifically advanced?

I’m a believer that the generation of knowledge should go hand-in-hand to advance our society or to make meaningful changes. My McGill education has given me the foundation I need for my research and for everything I’d like to accomplish for my community in the future. Nurturing babies is one way, but nurturing aspiring and upcoming nursing professions in another.

Let’s not forget the number of lives McGill nurses have touched and will continue to touch worldwide. McGill University transcends the seas and is remembered in the hearts of its graduates for years to come.
