Kauthar Rifi joined the Ingram School of Nursing in August of 2023. Born and raised in Toronto, she studied nursing at Ryerson University. Kauthar’s passion to further her education and advance her nursing knowledge led her to complete her Master of Nursing through Athabasca University. She has a vast level of experience working in bedside nursing for the past 10 years. Kauthar’s areas of practice ranged from rehabilitation nursing to mental health, medicine, and palliative care. Through these experiences, she developed an interest in sharing her knowledge and expertise by developing in her teaching practice to support and shape the future of nursing practice. Kauthar has had the opportunity to teach at Dawson College's Nursing Diploma Program, where she taught collaborative therapy, mental health and introduction to nursing.
