The Master of Science (Applied) Nursing - Direct Entry concentration is a two-year, 58-credit program that directly follows the Qualifying Year. By the end of MSc(A)-DE Year 1, students are eligible to practice as nursing externs during the summer break, in accordance with the regulations of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) - the Quebec Order of Nurses. Upon successful completion of MSc(A) DE Year 2, graduates are eligible to write the OIIQ licensing exam.
