From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. 2024 Recipient - Caroline Hunziker

CAROLINE HUNZIKER is a registered dietitian and a member of the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ) who graduated in December 2024 and holds a Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences with a Major in Dietetics from McGill University. Throughout her bachelor’s degree, Caroline has participated in various volunteering initiatives and community-based work, where she developed a strong interest in food security and the social determinants of health. She delivered a conference on trans identities in nutrition care at the 2023 Colloquium of the ODNQ in November and, as a registered dietitian, co-facilitated a workshop on inclusive perinatal practices with Alima (previously known as the Montreal Diet Dispensary). She is also a member of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committees of her workplace, and a member of Dietitians of Canada. Currently, Caroline works as a clinical nutritionist at the Villa Medica Rehabilitation Hospital. She plans to continue advocating for food security for all when she commences her Master’s in Human Nutrition at McGill University in Fall 2024, supervised by Dr. Treena Delormier.
