Our Mission
The mission of the Faculty of Arts Office of Advising and Student Information Services (OASIS) is to ensure the integrity and coherence of the Arts undergraduate degree. We provide advice and support to our students regarding their academic trajectory, from entry to graduation. We do so valuing principles of fairness, accessibility, respect, engagement, confidentiality and collaboration with key stakeholders.

One-on-One Advising
For more in-depth conversations on the topics below, we may book you to speak with an advisor one-on-one later the same day. Faculty Advisors provide ongoing advice and guidance on program selection and degree planning, and assist students in managing academic situations during periods of personal, financial, or medical difficulty by working with students to identify the various possibilities and strategies available.

Pre-Booked Appointments
You can always email an advisor you have already met with to request a follow-up appointment outside of their regular drop-in schedule.
In-Rez Advising
Available to all Arts students living in residence, in-rez advising appointments are available for groups of 5 or more students. To book an in-rez advising session, please submit this webform. It is the student's responsibility to organize the group and to secure an appropriate location in residence for us to meet. Please note, this service is unavailable during the Add/Drop period of either the Fall or Winter terms.
