The McGill Collaborative for AI and Society (McCAIS) announces undergraduate research award recipients
The McGill Collaborative for AI and Society (McCAIS) has announced the five recipients of the inaugural McCAIS Undergraduate Research Awards (McURA). The selected projects cover AI’s intersection with a wide range of topics, including precision medicine and efforts to protect the Amazon rainforest.
These awards encourage interdisciplinary research aimed at understanding and positively influencing the impact of AI on Society. This summer, the selected students will work with two supervisors from different disciplines to carry out research that draws on not only the technological aspects of AI, but also those related (but not limited) to arts, decision-making, health, law, and policy.
