Learning to engage with journalists involves listening, making sure the message is clear -- being an effective storyteller. Written press, radio, TV, blog, social media, podcast, and op-eds are all different channels to explain why your work matters; they are also ways to engage with the outside community, general public, influencers, politicians and your peers.
