Pitch your science story in 60 seconds or less.
Bring your 60-second science text and join Dr. Andrew Churchill for a dynamic 2 hour workshop to develop 3 pillars of engaging presentations: content, body language, and voice. Using your initial script as a starting point, Dr. Churchill will help participants work together to hone value propositions and develop effective hooks as well as coach more effective body language and use of voice to maximize engagement and comprehension. Come prepared to be active.
Dr. Churchill works as both a McGill instructor and private consultant to help people hone their communication skills. His presentation coaching experience includes teaching the McGill Graphos Academic Presentations course since its inception in 2014 as well as working with graduate students and faculty to prepare for a variety of events such as the Surgical Innovation Program Final Talks, The Hakim Family Innovation Prize Competition, and the Trottier Institute for Sustainability in Engineering and Design Changemakers. Participants consistently give him high marks for helping them develop the confidence and skills to more successfully convey their message.
