SciLearn Peer Collaboration

Formerly called “FRezCa”, SciLearn Peer Collaboration is a space for collaborative learning supported by teaching assistants (TAs), TEAM students, and course instructors.

At the “Peer Collab”, U0 & U1 students can:
• Work collaboratively and learn from each other.
• Study in a shared space.
• Complete homework or assignments collaboratively (some courses have exclusive practice problems).
• Ask for guidance from TEAM students and TAs.
• Make friends in their programs.

Winter 2024 sessions have now concluded. Check back in August for our Fall 2024 schedule!

Peer Collab Winter 2024 space

Location

Sessions are held in the 2001 McGill College Avenue lobby. The space can be accessed via the McGill College Avenue entrance or via the 770 Sherbrooke Street entrance. Once in the building, please proceed to the west corner of the lobby (the sunken space with trees) and go down the stairs, through the glass doors.

2001 McGill College has automatic, power-operated doors and there is an elevator to the space. If needed, please request elevator access from the building concierge. Gendered, multi-stall bathrooms are in the Peer Collab space, and single-stall, accessible bathrooms are available on the 4th floor.
