Melzack Lecture Series - Yoni Ashar PhD "Deconstructing Chronic Pain"

Yoni K. Ashar, PhD is an NIH-funded postdoctoral associate at Weill Cornell Medicine. He completed his doctorate at the University of Colorado Boulder. Yoni’s research uses functional MRI brain imaging, natural language processing, and other clinical and computational tools to understand how mind and brain processes influence health, especially chronic pain. His recent research has focused on Pain Reprocessing Therapy, a novel psychological treatment for chronic pain.
