Rod Finlayson

 Dr. Finlayson is a professor in the department of anesthesia at McGill University. He completed his anesthesia  residency at McGill University in 1996, and a fellowship in pain management in 1997.

 He is currently the medical director of the McGill University Health network chronic pain program and director of  interventional pain management at the McGill Alan Edwards Pain Management Unit. 

 He is a past president of the Quebec Pain Society and current chair of the Canadian Pain Society's interventional pain  management SIG.

 His clinical practice at the pain centre includes procedures for the treatment of low back and neck pain as well as  cervicogenic headaches. He is an active researcher with a particular interest in ultrasound guided procedures of the cervical  spine.
