Internal Awards and Fellowships

The Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics offers a variety of Internal Fellowships and Awards

  • James Frosst Award

Awarded annually to an outstanding conditionally accepted applicant. Amount of award may vary from year to year depending on the availability of funds.

  • Graduate Student Excellence Award

Awarded annually to an outstanding conditionally accepted applicant. Amount of award may vary from year to year depending on the availability of funds.

  • McGill Fellowships - This is funding that is awarded by GPS either through nomination by academic departments or sometimes by student application directly to GPS. They are usually awarded the winter or spring before the start of the award. These are listed in the Fellowships Calendar on the GPS Funding website.

External Fellowship Opportunities

External Awards - These are awarded by federal and provincial government agencies and some other private agencies that rely on McGill to recommend candidates. The application process is usually held one academic year in advance of receipt of the award. E-mail reminders will be sent to your McGill email address with deadlines and eligibility for all external fellowships.
