Admission to the Major program will be in U2, upon completion of the U1 required courses, and in consultation with the student's adviser. COMP 364 Comp. Tools for Life Sciences 3 Credits Offered in the: Fall Winter Summer Computer Science (Sci): Concepts and tools for programmatic storage, retrieval, searching, numerical analysis, and visualization of large biological data sets. Offered by: Computer Science 3 hours Prerequisite: BIOL 200. Restriction: Not available to students in Computer Science or Joint Computer Science programs. Note: It is recommended that students have already taken a laboratory course (e.g., BIOL 301 Cell and Molecular Laboratory). Topics motivated by biological questions.
