Biography:
Colin Chia is a Faculty Lecturer at McGill University and previously a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo and Niehaus Fellow at Princeton University. His research focuses on the contestation and politics of global governance and international orders, particularly over the issues of state sovereignty, international trade, and economic development. He also studies economic nationalism and the political impacts of beliefs about economic security and geopolitics. His research has been published in International Organization, Review of International Political Economy, and Policy Options.
Areas of interest:
Economic nationalism, technology politics, international order contestation, sovereignty and territoriality.
