Dr. Margolis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Western Ontario (Western University, Canada). Her research addresses how family dynamics shape population change in developed countries and she works in the following areas: demography, fertility and family change, population aging, and population health. Her project is currently being funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR).
