Design Services establishes design and construction standards and ensures that McGill’s facilities provide an environment that is aesthetically pleasing, sustainable, and conducive to the learning process, and which also enhances the teaching, research and public service functions of the University.

They prepare plans and technical specifications for classrooms, laboratories, landscape, teaching labs and small construction projects. They also oversee the work of external design consultants hired for the larger construction and renovation projects.

Our Organization is in need of ..

Acquisition of administrative office furniture through standing contract(s) with one or more suppliers. This includes the provision of seating (e.g., work chairs, boardroom chairs and guest chairs), work surfaces and storage (e.g., ergonomic desks and accessories, cabinets, shelves and tables).

At this time, the contracts will have a base term of three (3) years, plus two one-year extension options each, for a maximum term of five (5) years.
