Join the Redpath Museum to celebrate all the wonders of Montreal's museums.

There will be various activities animated by students, volunteers and special guests, like Let’s Talk Science at McGill University.

Don't forget to visit the special display table set up from the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in the Auditorium. Featuring documents, proposals and reviews, this display focusses on a few campaigns organized by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) in Montreal. In the Dawson Gallery on the second floor, visit the interactive table on local fossils and minerals collected by the Club de Minéralogie de Montreal.

Outside the museum's entrance, come observe the sun with members of McGill Astrophysics and their solar telescope.

No reservation necessary.

For the complete program of the Montreal Museums Day, please visit the official website Montreal Museums.

We are proud to announce that Montreal Museum Day  at Redpath Museum has been certified as a Silver McGill Sustainable Event by the McGill Office of Sustainability. To achieve this certification, we implemented actions such as:

  • Access to parent friendly washrooms
  • Offering free access to the museum
