From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Remembrance of Lost Species Art Workshop

​Join us for a  painting workshop to celebrate biodiversity and species conservation with South African art educator Katrine Claassen. The workshop will start with an introduction to the Museum's endangered, extinct and at risk species such as the Passenger pigeon, the Labrador Duck, the Eastern Cougar and the Carolina parakeet. The main part of the workshop is a painting lesson to remember lost species. Participants will create a work on canvas using acrylic paints. Suitable for children 8 - 12 years old.

$10.00/participant. Payment at the Museum (Room 102) when you arrive on December 3.
