The Office of Science Outreach has released a free lesson plan on seed dispersal for grades 3-6, and will continue to update activities. Download the lesson plan here.

TSI Outreach (previously known as Astro McGill), and the McGill Physics Outreach group (previously known as Physics Matters) offer physics and astronomy-related talks and events regularly. Visit their websites for upcoming events. The STEMM colouring book is available for download and was created by STEMM Diversity @McGill to showcase the diversity of science and scientists.

PhD student and president of STEMM Diversity @ McGill, Jessica Ford, along with MA student Sarah Ford, created Backyard Biology for kids aged 3 to 7 to highlight biodiversity around Montreal.

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences offers virtual tours around Montreal and Mont St-Hilaire!

Did you know that the Faculty of Science offers in-person and online talks for your class? Presented in person by McGill scientists (graduate students, staff and faculty), Hot Science, Cool Talks offers engaging conferences on various science topics, including biology, computer science, physics, medicine, and more.

BrainReach is an association of McGill Neuroscience graduate students offering neuroscience-based content to teachers and students; BrainReach North offers online lesson plans for free.

Les Débrouillards is a magazine promoting science for kids between 9 and 14 years old. 


Broad Science offers podcasts, STEM storytelling and live casts on CKUT radio.


Let's Talk Science proposes weekly online challenges for kids in grade 6-7 and 8. Registration is required. 


Mining Matters offers an activity book on the topics of mining, rocks and minerals. For ages 9 to 13.

Think Indigenous offer many activities on their Facebook page, including live streamings.

Collaborations

Fonfon is a publisher aiming to foster reading habits for children and offer them accessible books! Most content in French, but an English catalog is available on their website. 

  • Make sure to look at Fred sait tout sur la disparition des dinosaures as the Museum participated in the content on the last page of the book!

The Grilled Cheese magazines are fully bilingual and offered in two editions for 2-4 years old and 5-10 years old. Look for the Treasures edition to enjoy activities directly inspired by the museum and its collections!

Archéo-Québec proposes a ton of activities through their FacebookInstagram and Twitter accounts as well as on their website.
