Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture (FRQSC) Research Team Support Program (Soutien aux équipes de recherche)

The purpose of the FRQSC’s Research Team Support Program is to support the creation or the implementation of teams’ scientific program for the coordination of research projects (active or to be developed) in the social sciences and humanities, arts and literature. McGill professors considering applying to this opportunity are encouraged to attend this information session.

Michelle Picard-Aitken, Senior Grants and Agreements Officer, will present:

• Information on the program, as well as tips and tools for the application process for different types of eligible teams.
• Recent changes to the program guidelines and application procedures. Updated competition guidelines and forms will be posted on the FRQSC website in the coming days. For the Fall 2019 Research Team Support competition, the Notice of Intent deadline is expected to be August 22, 2019 and the full application due October 17, 2019 via FRQnet.

Time will also be reserved for a question and answer period, where participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the program or the application process. Those who are unable to attend or who may not feel comfortable sharing their questions are invited to send their inquiries to michelle.picard-aitken [at] mcgill.ca (Michelle Picard-Aitken) (ext. 3348) in advance so that they may be included in the session.
