September 21 to 27 is jam-packed with Science Literacy Week events. Each day, our Outreach volunteers will read a story and lead a related hands-on activity to convey the excitement and influence of STEM in our everyday lives!
We even have a special author-led reading on Sept. 26 from past Let’s Talk Science Outreach volunteer Katherine Schoepp! She will be reading her book If: Ball, Then: Catch, about a girl named Dot who really wants a puppy – but is given a robot dog instead.
Other activities include creating a cloud in a jar, making your own small wind turbine and brain teasers!
