The workshop will be held in the McIntyre Medical Building, 2nd floor, room 208/209.
This workshop is designed to teach you how to attract and maintain the attention of readers in primarily STEM disciplines with effective images and image captions.
Participate in this 2-hour interactive workshop and you will the following:
-evaluate the visual and expressive impact of images and image captions
-practice improving images and image captions to attract readers to your work
Please come to the workshop with:
-an image for a project you are working on
-a sample TOC (Table of Contents) graphic and figure from a journal you want to publish in
The workshop will be held in the McIntyre Medical Building, 2nd floor, room 208/209.
The workshop will be led by Dr. Chris Corkery, who has worked in science and research communication for fifteen years. He is currently a Technology Transfer Manager at McGill University.
The registration for the workshop will take approximately 2 minutes to complete.
