Dr Jamie Blustein will discuss recent research in Dalhousie University's HAIKU research groups about methods to increase the engagement of art gallery visitors (patrons) with artworks on display and work within the linked-art community to better describe artworks using open linked data models.  HAIKU is using Kent Monkman's painting Miss Chief's Wet Dream (2018) as testbed artwork.  Jamie and student Brandon Hollohan will present the current prototype interface to the painting.  Jamie will issues with, and plans for, the CDOC-CRM framework for describing artworks using the painting as a specific example.
