School of Information Studies @ ASIS&T 2013 Annual Meeting
The McGill School of Information Studies (SIS) is strongly represented at the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) 76th Annual Meeting, Nov. 1-5 in Montreal.
The conference is co-chaired by Dr. France Bouthillier, SIS Director and faculty member. Faculty, affiliated researchers, and students are participating in panels and workshops and presenting papers and posters.
The ASIS&T Annual Meeting brings together research on advances in the information sciences and related applications of information technology, serving as a venue for dissemination. This year’s theme, "Beyond the Cloud: Rethinking Information Boundaries," encourages reflection on changes in the use of information and means of accessibility which impact human information interaction and the potential implications of these changes for information science and technology.
