SIS MLIS Archival Studies student Allana Mayer wins ProQuest scholarship for electronic information services

Allana Mayer, School of Information Studies MLIS II student is the winner of the ProQuest Roger K. Summit Scholarship, open to LIS students worldwide! The Roger K. Summit Scholarship, awarded annually by ProQuest, recognizes LIS students who demonstrate outstanding interest or performance in electronic information services. The award is the equivalent of US $5,000 and will be presented at the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Annual Conference.

Allana is focusing her graduate work on archiving, with plans to apply her skills in art and media—particularly digitization, born-digital content, and the maintenance of archival context for artistic works in digital environments.
