Rebecca Nieto, a student in the McGill School of Information Studies Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) program, is a 2014 recipient of the Mosaic Scholarship given by the Society of American Archivists (SAA). The Mosaic Scholarship provides funding to students who demonstrate potential for scholastic and personal achievement and who manifest a commitment both to the archival profession and to advancing diversity concerns within it.
Practicum Pause: An interview with School of Information Studies Master's student Paul Grewal
McGill School of Information Studies recent graduate Paul Grewal (MLIS '14) was interviewed by the McGill Library's "Library Matters" blog about his successful Practicum placement with the Library while a student in the Master's program.
During his Practicum, Paul was responsible for conducting interviews and analyzing LibQUAL+ survey results after changes to the Library’s reference service model were implemented.
