Research & Grants - for faculty

This page features research and funding resources for SIS faculty.

Research Support

Research Services for Arts: first point of contact for Faculty members for research support related to: initiatives, networking and grants.

McGill Office of Sponsored Research: OSR provides comprehensive information, services and support to members of the McGill research community in their pursuit and management of funding.

In addition, the McGill Library provides a range of research-related services as outlined in the McGill Library's Faculty Guidebook (see the Library's Teaching Services page for the most current edition). As outlined in the Guidebook:

  • Liaison librarians can help track information on particular topics, locate difficult to find information for you, and assist with resources required for the preparation of research funding applications.
  • You will wish to publish your research in journals which are well-read and highly cited. Librarians can help you locate the most appropriate editors to approach.
  • The Library will help you to share knowledge through the Univesity's Digital Repository Program.
