SIS Student Group Site Web Editor Request Form

McGill School of Information Studies student associations and groups: use this form to request training and editing access to your pages on the SIS Student Associations website.

Each student association or group with pages on the SIS Student Associations website is required to assign one primary editor for training each Fall. IN ADDITION: if your web editor will be graduating, your group is strongly encouraged to register a temporary/backup web editor in early Spring. This will ensure no breaks in your group's web editing access over the Summer and early Fall.

Designated editors

  • Review the McGill Web Management Calendar of Training Sessions and note preferred training times for WMS 300 - Site Editing. McGill requires all editors to complete this compulsory workshop on editing in the McGill Web Management System before IT will grant editing access to sites. Note for MISSA Internet Communications Officer - select times for both WMS 300 and WMS 301 - Site Management.
  • Submit this form. SIS staff will reply with a registration code and provide guidance for the remaining process.
