Postdoctoral Research Day

The Annual Postdoctoral Research/Career Day is open to the entire academic community. It is intended to bring together a wide range of topics to help and inspire postdoctoral fellows both now and as they transition into their career. There will be networking opportunities for postdocs across Quebec.

Workshop Description

The Annual Postdoctoral Research/Career Day is organized in collaboration with six Quebec university partners, McGill University, Concordia University, l'Université de Montréal, L'École de technologie supérieure (ETS) de Montréal, L'Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS), and Laval University. Each year, a different university has the honour of hosting the event.

Did you know that as a McGill student, your participation in many activities, such as training workshops and volunteering are tracked on your Co-Curricular Record (CCR)? Having your co-curricular activities listed in one document can help you revise your CV or cover letter, prepare for interviews, or explore career options. Learn how to access and leverage this important document through myInvolvement, and make your training count!

McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. McGill honours, recognizes and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we meet today.
