Discover Islam

This year we are supporting the Muslim Student Association to hold their event "Discover Islam: An embodied journey through faith" in Wilson Hall this coming Friday. There are many activities and talks throughout the day. Given the horrific attacks in New Zealand last week, I hope that you may be able to find time to attend some portion of the day's events in support of our Muslim colleagues and students. If you wish to share the event information with students, there is a flier attached.

Following the horrendous hatred and inhumanity enacted against people while at prayer in the past few years, supporting this event is one action we can take as a community to show our condemnation of these attacks and to show support for the target of the most recent attacks - the Muslim community.
