Barbara Nichols, Associate Professor Retired

 

Bio

Dr. Barbara Nichols is an Associate Professor who joined the School in 1979 and retired in 1999.

Dr. Nichols continues to make an active contribution to social work through her research and involvement with the Alumni. Most recently she is representing the School in her work with World Link, a foundation seeking to train mental health workers in China. Nichols travels extensively in China, Nepal, Kashmir and the Thai-Cambodian border. She has published on a wide range of subjects affecting women, social dependency in old age and employment issues.
