Philippe Archambault, PhD promoted to Full Professor

Philippe Archambault, erg, PhD has been promoted to Full Professor in the OT Program at the School of Physical & Occupational Therapy (SPOT). Dr. Archambault's promotion is in recognition of his excellence in research, teaching and service to the School. Dr. Archambault is also the new Scientific co-director of CRIR (with Claudine Auger from Universitée de Montréal). CRIR (Centre de recherche interdisciplinaire en réadaptation du Montréal métropolitain) is one of the largest research centers in rehabilitation in Canada. CRIR counts 85 regular researchers, 22 associate members and 6 honorary members. Over 100 clinician/health care professional members collaborate with the researchers, and also conduct their own research projects. CRIR researchers supervise more than 400 students, half of whom are doctoral students. Annually, the CRIR Research Ethics Board for the CRIR Institutions evaluates an average of 120 new research projects.
