Current research: 

Prof. Lencucha is currently conducting research on the implementation of recovery-oriented mental health policy in Quebec, Canada. He is also engaged in research that examines the intersection of public health policymaking (tobacco control) and economic policy. Specifically, this research examines the influence of international trade and investment on tobacco control policy in Brazil, Philippines, Zambia, Kenya, Malawi and Nigeria. These two lines of research are joined by an overarching interest in the relationship between norms, economic and political interests and evidence in the policymaking process.
