The Quebec Government announced that the rates for the academic year 2024-25 will increase as follows:

Rate 1: For students newly admitted first cycle and second cycle non-thesis students who enrol in 2024-2025, the tuition fee is a combination of the Quebec rate and the out of province supplement which totals $412.00 per credit ($98.91 +$313.09). First cycle refers to undergraduate students and second cycle refers to students at the master’s level. This includes certificates and diplomas and special and visiting students.

Students who change their degree or have a break of enrolment of 4 or more terms including the summer term (see Break in enrolment for definition.) will be subject to the rate charged to newly admitted students for 2024-25. Students who have dual citizenship (Canada-France; Canada – Belgian francophones including Canadian permanent residents from France or Belgium francophones will pay tuition at Rate 2.

McGill University is launching a $3,000 Canada Award to offset tuition increases for students newly admitted in 2024-25 who are full-time Canadian undergraduate students from outside Quebec in certain disciplines.
