For students currently in the Faculties of Arts or Science (including B.A.&Sc.)
If you are a Freshman/Foundation Year (U0) student and have earned 24 or more credits in your first term (Fall) including advanced standing credits at the time of admission, you may change to a U1 student and select your major for the Winter term. Final grades for your first term at McGill must be available in order for a decision to be made.
Note: It is highly recommended that you meet with your faculty advisor to ensure that you are meeting the academic requirements of your degree. However, permission from a faculty advisor is not required to submit a request.
