Budget are automatically set up in BSA for Finance Funds:
- Used exclusively for institutional awards and agency awards (2A-2E - fellowships, prizes, bursaries, scholarships, medals)
- Grants used for student stipends (2F & 2M). No upfront budget required. As you enter the award, the budget is automatically updated.
No budget automation is in place for:
- Operating and all Other funds (not from above). Faculties and departments must complete the BSA Budget Adjustment Request Form to setup/adjust a budget accordingly.
Note: FAA budgets are only a guide and do not necessarily reflect the available balance in Finance. FAA budgets can be adjusted upon request.
