Task Force

Report Card on Student Life and Learning

In 2005, the Principal’s Task Force on Student Life and Learning at McGill was established to determine issues that impact student life and learning. In 2006, the Task Force proposed three recommendations in the areas of academic advising/mentoring, resources for students, and the building of a learning community.

In response to the recommendations, this Report Card, initially presented in the appendix of the Final Administrative Response [.pdf], outlines specific initiatives, the units responsible, a proposed timeline and actions taken in an effort to judge our own progress in satisfying the proposed recommendations and reaching our aspirations as expressed in the definition of a student-centred, research-intensive university [.pdf].

This Report Card was regularly updated until April 2011. It will remain online for reference purposes.
