Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures
All McGill community members should understand the Code of Student Conduct. It is important to know what counts as a violation and how the University handles these situations.
Student rights
McGill students have rights—both personal and academic. These include the right to quality supervision and the right to ask for academic accommodations.
Student grievances
If a student believes that someone in a position of authority at McGill has violated a right listed in the Charter of Student Rights, they can file a formal complaint, called a grievance.

Academic integrity
McGill created a short online tutorial with examples to help students understand what it means to act with integrity in their studies.
All students must complete the tutorial during their first semester.
