Get Involved with HPV Prevention Week at McGill

Published: 1 October 2018

For national HPV Prevention Week, join the McGill Student Health Service team in a collaborative event to increase awareness and promote prevention.

Did you know that the human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common STI in the world, affecting up to 3 out of 4 sexually active Canadians?

That’s why the McGill Student Health Service and the Healthy McGill Sexual Health Peer Health Educators are hosting two events to provide information on HPV and HPV prevention, safer sex, and to facilitate access to HPV vaccinations for McGill students. Find us on McTavish street (right outside the Brown Building) on Tuesday October 2nd and Thursday October 4th from 10am to 2pm.

Please note: In case of rain, the tabling will be moved inside the Brown Building lobby.

If you can’t stop by these events, feel free to visit our student health clinic for an appointment with a nurse, or call Info-Santé at 811. More information on HPV prevention can be found at https://www.canadavshpv.ca/
