Sign up to receive Rossy Hub construction updates

Construction will soon begin on McGill’s new Rossy Student Wellness Hub. The third floor of the Brown Building will be renovated to provide a “one-stop shop” for all of Student Services’ health-related activities.

Student Services is committed to making sure students are kept well informed during the construction of the Hub.

Expanded financial support for new and returning Indigenous students at McGill

McGill University’s Indigenous students can now rely on dedicated financial support, thanks to a partnership with Indspire, an Indigenous national charity that invests in the education of Indigenous peoples.

Two types of financial assistance will be made available via Indspire:

Student Health Clinic: No Doctor Drop-Ins on Tuesday, Oct 16

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the Student Health Clinic cannot offer doctor drop-in appointments on Tuesday, October 16th. Nurses will still be available to take drop-ins, and pre-booked appointments will proceed as scheduled.

We're hosting a series of small focus groups throughout the month of October to learn about how you access our services and information, and what we can do to simplify that process for you.

Student Services to close at 4pm on October 1st

All Student Services offices will close at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1st, in order to provide staff with four consecutive hours for voting while polls are open, as is required by the province. 

All classes, laboratories and examinations in all Faculties – as well as in the School of Continuing Studies – are cancelled on Monday, October 1, 2018.

NEW: Fitness Program for Students with Disabilities

Fitness Access McGill (FAM) supports students with physical disabilities, chronic illnesses or other impairments on campus with accessing physical activity opportunities on McGill’s campus.

NEW: Drop-in Appointments at Counselling Services

Starting on September 10, 30-minute drop-in consultations will be available Monday to Friday. Registration starts at 9:30 and appointments are first-come, first-served. This is a great option if you have a pressing issue you need to work through quickly.
