Physical Wellness

Physical wellness is one of eight components found on the Wellness Wheel.

This component describes the ability to take good care of your physical body.  We encourage you to develop a plan to become healthier (not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well) during your time at McGill. There are a variety of resources and support networks designed to help you thrive and care for your well-being.

The Student Wellness Hub offers a dynamic array of health and wellness services both on-campus and online. The Hub can help connect you to the care you need: peer support, off-campus care, wellness programming, self-guided care, or access to clinicians. Our team of clinicians includes nurses, doctors, psychiatrists, counsellors, Access Advisors, Local Wellness Advisors, dietitians, and sexologists.

If you are an international or Canadian non-resident student, take a look at International Student Services' section on international health insurance to learn more about your coverage.

Finally, to help support an active lifestyle, Athletics and Recreation offers a wide range of exercise facilities including a pool, a fitness centre, an aerobics room, and much more.
