Overview

Civil Engineering : Quantitative analysis of uncertainty in planning, design, construction, operation and rehabilitation of engineered facilities. Interprets fundamentals of probabilities, random processes, statistics, and decision analysis in the context of engineering applications, in particular description of variability of loads and environmental conditions, material properties performance prediction, system reliability analysis, and risk-based decision analysis.
