Civil Engineering : Material properties; prestressing methods and systems; the behaviour and design of members subjected to axial forces, bending, shear and torsion; prestress losses; design of statically determinate and indeterminate structures; composite precast construction; prestressed concrete floor systems. Application to bridge design.
