"Changing the Standard of Care for Patients with Breast Cancer: Personal Experience"
Speaker: Armando Giuliano, MD, FASC, FRCSEd, FSSO
Dr. Armando Giuliano is the Linda and Jim Lippman Chair in Surgical Oncology and Regional Medical Director of the Cedars-Sinai Cancer Breast Oncology Program. He is Clinical Professor of Surgery at University of California, Los Angeles. He has served as Chair of the Breast Research Committee of the American College of Surgeons Oncology Group and was author and PI for the sentinel node Z0010 and Z0011 studies, which led to significant practice changes for patients with early breast cancer. The main focus of his clinical research continues to be management of early breast cancer, nodal metastasis, and quality of life of breast cancer patients.
