Biography:
Dr Ghitulescu obtained her medical degree and completed her general surgery residency at McGill. She then completed a colorectal surgery fellowship at Penn State University and returned to McGill to complete a Minimally Invasive Surgery fellowship.
She joined the staff at the Jewish General Hospital in 2002 and gradually shifted her practice to focus on colorectal surgery and acute care surgery.
She has always been involved in surgical education, and served as Assistant Program Director for the General Surgery residency program from 2017 to 2020, and became Program Director of the Surgical Foundations program in 2020.
