As the Fall 2024 admissions period ends and most decisions have been made, we would like to remind you about funding opportunities for Mexican students. According to McGill’s agreement with CONACyT, FUNED and EDUCAFIN, Mexican students with an Offer of Admission to an eligible graduate degree program at McGill University are given preference during the scholarship selection process. Deadlines are fast approaching, so we ask that you encourage your admitted Mexican students to submit their application now. Note that current students may also be eligible to apply. Due to the current circumstances, CONACYT’s second period application has been pushed to July 31st. Note that the EDUCAFIN call for applications is limited to residents of the state of Guanajuato. IMPORTANT: Mexican students may also be eligible for an External Differential Fee Waiver from the Quebec government. The deadline to apply for Fall 2024 has passed, but a competition for Winter should open late in the Summer. For more information, visit AMEXCID’s website. |
