Sustainability Monthly Challenges

The Office of Sustainability invites staff, students, and faculty to participate in Sustainability Monthly Challenges. These challenges tap into each facet of sustainability - namely environmental, social and economic - in the hopes to target both the University’s operations and our everyday behaviors.

Every month, your team will be challenged to improve a specific component of your lifestyle in the hopes of leading us together and individually to a healthier, happier and greener tomorrow.

The upcoming themes are: Going Outside in July, Local Foods in August, Indigenous Awareness in September, Transit in October, Waste Reduction in November, and Energy Use in December.

Get Involved

To begin, designate one team member as a leader who will act as a point of contact with the Office of Sustainability.

Before each month’s challenge, a member of the Office of Sustainability will provide the team leader with an information package to help your team throughout the month.
